Restaurant Le Carré
Our chef and his team concoct varied and balanced meals every day on the basis of medical advice. We can prepare special dietary menus or vegetarian meals for you on request. As a patient in the semiprivate and private unit, you have the choice of ordering from the à la carte menus free of charge. The same applies to patients on basic insurance who have opted for an upgrade.
Meals will be served in your room. You can share them with your visitors, either in your room or in the cafeteria, on request to your nurse the day before.
Breakfast is served between 7.30 a.m. and 8.15 a.m.
Lunch is served between 11.30 a.m. and 12.15 p.m.
The evening meal is served between 5.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.
You are automatically offered a hot drink after meals.
Room service is provided to all rooms in our private and semiprivate unit. An upgrade also provides entitlement to this service. For those on basic insurance, room service is available on request.
Our “Le Carré” restaurant, which is open to the public, offers you a stylish setting with a sophisticated and innovative cuisine that will delight your taste buds.
Our chef offers you a choice of two set meals daily or à la carte dishes, all made with the freshest ingredients. During the summer season, our clientele can enjoy a shady terrace that has the feel of being out in the country but is, in fact, at the heart of Fribourg!
We pay strict attention to careful and attentive service and provide the perfect setting for an unforgettable business lunch.

The cafeteria and lounge are open to patients and their visitors. Just tell your nurse a day in advance if you want to take your meal there with your visitors.
A “snacks” menu is available throughout the day.
Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
